20 things I want to say to different people. These people will not be identified. You will read this, and then you can go and write a list of things you want to say to other people.Did I mention that Steph is only 15, and an astoundingly talented writer? Sometimes I think she's really 39 and just pretending to be 15.
- I miss the person you were three years ago.
- Thank you for believing in me.
- I think the highlights in your hair make you look ridiculous. I will never tell you this. I’m just going to wait for your hair to grow out, and try and avoid laughing every time I see you until then.
- I think you’re going to regret what you’re doing now when you’re older, but I don’t know how to communicate this to you without offending you.
- I’m sorry that I told you I was gay so that you wouldn’t ask me out.
- I completely misjudged you.
- I think you’re awesome, but I know you’d feel uncomfortable if I told you that.
- I wonder where you disappeared to.
- You try too hard. You were more likable when you acted like yourself.
- I wish you dressed better, and I feel bad when I wish that, because I dress terribly myself.
- I forget how beautiful you are because I see you every day.
- Your support means a lot more to me than I think you realise.
- You’re not fat, and I wish you’d stop telling everyone that you are.
- I’m afraid that you’ll die before I do.
- I envy you, and I feel terrible about it.
- Brown is not your colour.
- I was the one who wrote on your poster. I’m sorry. It was stupid. I was twelve.
- You think you’re a lot more grown up than you really are.
- I’m really sick of the way you treat me.
- I wish you’d have let me cut your hair.
I'm working on my own list. Whether I post it or not is another story.

Love it. Thanks for posting.
That's great. Seems like a good way to let off steam. Perhaps I'll write up my own 20 things.
I'll have to join you in writing, Sara. :) Thanks for sharing!
It must feel great to get these off your chest! And with the names omitted to protect the innocent...
Oh, and P.S.--Is Quinn to join me on my blog?
What's amazing about this list is that I am roughly 30 years older and the same things would be on my list!
Peace - Rene
That's amazing that she's 15. I hope she stays at least as honest and wise.
I was sure it was a list my wife made. fun to read and chuckle over. thanks for a few moments of fun
Not so sure I'm comfortable posting my own list but wow, I love the idea. It goes along with the letters I'm always writing in my head.
I love this list. What an awesome idea.
